The Dominion Mandate
How a charge from Luke 1:17 became a ministry to families across the nations.
“And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”Luke 1:17 (KJV)
This mandate came to us from the Lord Himself, through a definite encounter with Luke 1:17. It came with specific instructions: turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, make ready a people prepared for the Lord, and teach the world about Jesus Christ as the source of every expectation that makes life worth living.
We have carried this mandate through messages, books, recordings and training. Testimonies continue to abound as families are turned around and a new generation is prepared for its assignment.
Our founders
Dr. Olalekan Joseph Olowe and his wife began the ministry in 2013. It is the ministry of His Dominion Christian Organization, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in El Paso, Texas, with work in Nigeria.
Dr. Olowe is an ordained pastor, a Texas-licensed physical therapist and an entrepreneur. He is the author of The Power of Expectation, the book behind the Expectation Index, and of the Kingdom Vision and Glory and Honor devotionals. Together, he and his wife have raised three children.
In 1985, as a young man just out of secondary school, he realized he needed Jesus and received Him as Lord and Savior. Every stone in the story since rests on that one.
Know Jesus
The greatest expectation runs from God toward you: He expects to be known by you, and He made the way. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
If you want to receive Him today, or have questions, write to us. Someone will pray with you.
